TYC offers a variety of events and workshops to deepen and expand your personal yoga practice.
Join Rachel in celebrating the Christmas season with a relaxing candle-lit restorative class.
Austin Shook, of Alignment Sound Energy, will play an array musical instruments from ancient cultures to create a space of deep peace. In this sound bath, you will have the opportunity to connect with aspects of yourselves that often get foggy through our daily routines. You may experience deep relaxing states that can promote awareness of yourself beyond the body and deep into the essence of your Being.
Sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being. Sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. Come let healing processes be initiated by the unique tones of this sound bath, creating the perfect state for deep meditation, creative thinking and intuitive messages.
Please wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat, and expect to relax using blankets and bolsters.
Austin Shook, based out of Charlotte, NC, has been traveling around the US over the last 7 years and has shared sound healing in roughly 40 states through more than 1,000 sound healings. Austin is also certified as a Reiki Master and utilizes high vibrational energy (love) to balance out the rest of the energetic centers in the body and to release blockages that keep us from recognizing and merging with our highest potential self.
Ring in the Winter Solstice with community. Bring your favorite dish to share after Restorative class!
Join us for this special self care practice. What is a Sound Bath? Imagine feeling relaxed as you hear the sounds from quartz crystal bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and more. Not only do you hear these unique sounds but experience the vibration each creates. The tones build and evolve, producing a sound experience that is unique and healing.
